The Real Story
I spent over a decade in the final expense industry doing everything right. I built a book of business, developed agents, stayed loyal to my organization, and kept my head down. And for a long time, I told myself that was enough.
Then I hit a wall that a lot of good agents hit and nobody talks about honestly. Growth stopped — not because I wasn't producing, but because there were managers above me who weren't going anywhere. My contract was capped. I had no room to move up, no room to offer my best agents better deals, and no way to reward the people who were actually building something with me.
I was losing good people because I couldn't compete. Not because of my work ethic. Not because of my results. Because of the structure I was locked into.
